Timebox Girl Don’t Make Me Wait 1968 UK 7” 45 RPM Single Near Mint Deram Patto Boxer Halsall Rutles
Up for auction is a sale is a 7-inch 45 rpm single from Timebox, which featured Mike Patto on vocals, Ollie Halsall on guitar/piano, Clive Griffiths on bass, and John Halsey on drums. They went on to be Patto in the 70s, and Ollie and John were also members of The Rutles.

The A-side is an upbeat soul production, which was very popular and commercial at the time. But the B-Side, Gone Is The Sad Man, is from a whole other universe and has been included on many psychedelic pop / freakbeat compilations. One of their best tracks, certainly.
The record is in near mint condition. The record plays near mint too! We don’t normally play grade records, but we checked this one out. Plays wonderfully.
