First recording of "Chills & Fever" by Tom Jones (actually by Tommy Scott & The Senators and produced by Joe Meek).
Not to be confused with his 2nd recording of the song released one year before on Decca.
The first and original recording of "Chills And Fever" was released in 1960 on the Detroit label Startime (Cat# 45-5001) who credited the track to "Johnny Love and his Orchestra". When it was picked up for national distribution by Dot Records, it was credited to "Ronnie Love". See Johnny Love And His Orchestra - Chills And Fever / No Use Pledging My Love.
The song was later recorded twice by Tom Jones. His 2nd recording was released on Decca in 1964. His first recording -produced by Joe Meek- was later released on Tower
