Offered here is a 16 inch C. P. MacGregor radio transcription disc c.1947 featuring a jazz music library of the Tommy Todd Trio. The transcription plays at 33 1/3 rpm and uses the standard stylus for 78 rpm records. It is in excellent condition and contains 8 different songs by the Tommy Todd Trio. This trio doesn't seem to have many recordings. Too bad, they're really good!
The samples are recorded 'as is' from the record with no 'enhancements'. What you hear is what you get.
You are bidding on a 2 sided 16" radio transcription record by C.P.MacGregor featuring great jazz by the Tommy Todd Trio (piano, guitar, and bass). Before tapes and CDs became commonplace, syndicated series and music libraries were sent to radio stations on these large records and were played on transcription turntables. Pretty cool piece of history here. If you want, I can include a recording of this record to the winning bidder. POSTAGE TO U.S. ADDRESS IS $4.00 VIA MEDIA MAIL.
PRIORITY MAIL OPTION IS AVAILABLE TO U.S. ADDRESS.
COST IS DETERMINED BY DISTANCE FROM PORTLAND, OREGON. SHIPPING TO ADDRESS OUTSIDE THE U.S. IS $21.00.
