PLEASE CONSIDER THAT IN THESE EBAY AUCTIONS I USE A STRICT RECORD COLLECTOR MAGAZINE GRADING SYSTEM THAT CAN'T DISAPPOINT ANYONE BUT THIS DOESN'T MEAN THAT ,FOR EXAMPLE, A VG+ COVER OR A VG+ VINYL IT'S EQUIVALENT TO "BAD CONDITIONS" BUT SIMPLY THAT MY GRADE IT'S STRICT AND PROBABLY EQUIVALENT TO AN EX OF SOMEONE ELSE WITH NOT A SO STRICT GRADE. I HAVE SOLD IN THESE AUCTIONS EX- RECORDS THAT WERE SURELLY M- COPIES BUT I PREFERE TO BE STRICT TO AVOID ANY DISAPPOINTEMENT BECAUSE I TAKE GREAT CARE OF MY REPUTATION.

graded VG+/VG+ for a strict Record Collector magazine grading system
label: The label it's the classic red/silver and does have some marks around the spindle hole and nothing else so VG++. The vinyl matrices are YCARX 81 - 1 on side one and YCARX 82 - 3 on side 2 so very early matrices. 1 at 3 o' clock and G at 9 o' clock so first mother and first stamper...what do you need more?
cover: The cover it's matt and in enjoyable conditions with some minor defects like an upper central seam split of about 2 cm, a beginning of ring front and back and the spine it's partially readable only...so VG+. This is lp does have sometime a matt flipaback cover but this is a normal matt without the flaps over the back side. In UK this is normal. The Decca label pressed flipback and non flipback in the same time like for the Rolling Stones first 2 lps or John Mayall first 2 lps. Emi pressed flipback slightly first of the non flipback during the sixties but sincerelly I don't know in the seventies....because in the seventies it's more common a non flipback that a flipback cover, anyway I had this lp with flipback cover too so it's surelly existing a flipback press too.
vinyl: The vinyl it's great and plays superbly but does have 2/3 minor light marks for side 2 and same for the side 1. It plays basically super well with some minimal crackles for few moments in a couples of spots...I have to call it VG+ but I'm very reluctant because I hope you think this mean bad conditions instead of great conditions with super minimal defects ... or close to no defects... please consider this carefully before to bid.
review: This is one of the best hard progressive records from UK in the seventies and an indispensable album if you love a leading guitar all over. Zal Cleminson it's a great guitarist that did not have received the consideration he deserved ...in this lp he play with a great intensity and with a so great ability that it's hard to find any better example....Davey Batchelor the other guitarist it's the guarantee of the more energetic and powerful sound you can imagine in the period...sincerelly it's a bit hard to say something of the Bass player and of the drummer because this record it's more devastating that an Atomic Bomb...other than Tear Gas! For me this is even better than Leafhound or Human Beast....far better than Dark....and it's very rare too and normally a nice copy run for 300/400 pounds...just found another one for 295 pounds (good price!)...so Don't Miss this opportunity!!!
