Description
Released by Torpedo in 1970, cat # TOR 10; this is the legendary “Moonhop In London” / “Skinhead Moondust” by The Hot Rod All-Stars.
Do you need me to tell you about this record? Since I’ve started listing the reggae singles, this has been the most requested single on the numerous “wants” lists I have received.
The A-side label has one spindle mark; the B-side is clear. There is some sort of mottling to both labels that I thought was foxing, but it looks more like the labels are just not that good! Visually, both playing surfaces are unmarked.
Of course, I’ve played both sides several times. At first, the sound quality of the record was only very good with quite a bit of surface noise on both sides. Now, that has virtually cleared with only a little bit left at the very start. The record is graded as excellent.
I know this record turns up quite often, but this record is a genuine, non-hammered copy that has hardly been played.
Postage and packing for one record will be £1 UK, £1.60 Europe and £2.30 USA and the Rest of the World. For two records, the costs are £1.20 UK, £2 Europe and £2.90 USA and the Rest of the World.
Insurance is extra and will be required for South East Asia (Singapore, Taiwan, Japan etc) regardless of the cost of the item. Other destinations will be expected to take up insurance if the value of the record or overall consignment exceeds £28.
Payment by PayPal is preferred for all customers; though I will accept cheques or postal orders for UK customers. Overseas customers must pay by Paypal unless agreed otherwise prior to auction end.
