This is Trans Electronic Music Productions Presents Switched On Bach vinyl LP. Is the late 1960s, Robert Moog created the Moog Synthesizer, an electronic musical instrument that could be configured to play many different electronic sounds. One of the earliest implementations of the Moog Synthesizer was done by Walter Carlos who performed Bach classical compositions on the Moog, lending a whole new dimension to classical music. On this record, Walter plays several pieces by Bach and it launched the popularity of this new musical genre. The Moog sound was incorporated by many rock musical groups throughout the 1960s and 1970s and eventually morphed into techno pop.
The record is in good condition with light scuffing/scratches. The record plays without skipping. The album cover is in good condition with some light wear/scuffing and patina (see photos). The playback has light static/popping noise.
