This is part of a big auction of blues and R&B 7" records. There are many King and Chess records here with several "bonus" listings and a handful of rarities. Keep an eye out for a large Specialty Records auction in a couple of weeks then an oddball auction of mainly 60's rock 'n roll, many with picture sleeves.

Release: Sonny Boy Williamson - Mighty Long Time / Nine Below Zero

Format: 45 rpm 7" single

Year: 1952

Notes: Purple label first pressing. Hard to find very early 45 - very thick vinyl & has visible push marks. This is where many people say Sonny Boy is at his best, it's raw, simple harmonica blues. You can even hear his foot tapping on these, just great stuff.

Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is generally nice with a just few stray marks. Looks clean and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, plays with hardly any background noise at all.  Labels are nice with original gloss and no tearing/stickers. There is some light scuffing to the silver print. Solid copy overall.
