Lovely 1958 1st UK issue of this great recording of Rosalyn Tureck performing J.S. Bach's Goldberg Variations BWV 988.....this is Record 2 of a 2 Record Set which were sold separately back in 1958 .....on Gold/Red HMV ALP 1549 labels with Mardons Front Laminated Flipback Cover with ZT Tax Stamp rear bottom left corner and Handling Instuctions Polylined Inner Sleeve ......
The vinyl has light hairlines and one slightly more obvious mark first third of side 3.........a little background noise on run ins, between tracks and occasionally in quiet passages ......plays nicely all the way through with no skips , sticks or jumps .......powerful sound.....side 3 is visually VG to VG+ and audio VG++.....side 4 is VG++ to EX visual and audio
Mardons Front Laminated Flipback Cover with ZT Tax Stamp rear bottom left corner is in VG to VG+ condition .....looks better at first glance with good whiteness to rear but there is the beginnings of laminate lift/loss at the front opening.........see pics .
Gold/Red HMV ALP 1549 labels in lovely condition .....see pics.......2XEA 1317-1N and 2XEA 1318-8N Matrices, 1 2/1 2 Mothers and P/P Stampers ......
Handling Instuctions Polylined Inner Sleeve in nice condition.......see pics
