U2 "4 Play" vinyl set of 4 rare 7" Early Singles - Exclusive to Ireland
My folks went to Ireland and brought this back for me. It was played only once in the mid-1980s and then stored... for 38 years.
These early U2 vinyl sets are rare but you can also always find them here on eBay. I guess that's good. The thing is, they are always priced pretty high - and that's fine for a really nice set of rare early U2 vinyl.
The quality on my set should be near perfect after just one play - but it isn't. I didn't always store it correctly and so there is some schmutz on the vinyl (see photos). The glue holding the record sleeves together has failed a bit on most of them. Could the schmutz be glue that melted/migrated onto the vinyl? Maybe. There is not a huge amount but enough to be a consideration. The vinyl is not warped; they look good.
So, here's the deal: I'm pricing in the flaws on this set, so it's well below the other sets available here on eBay. I figure you're going to be able to remove the schmutz but I've lowered the price because the set is what it is. Ask me any questions you'd like on it.
I'm going to ship using USPS media mail but will pack it up with plenty of padding.
