U2 - Rattle And Hum 1988 (Photo #6) US Double Vinyl/LP containing 17 total tracks featuring 4 hit songs: Desire (a US Billboard 100 Hot Singles Chart #3 smash & 1st #1 single in the UK Chart), Angel Of Harlem (a US Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart #14 hit), When Love Comes To Town (reached #2 on the US Billboard Mainstream Rock Chart & #68 on the US Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart) and All I Want Is You (peaked at #2 on the UK Singles Chart & #83 on the US Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart in 1989 then #38 on the US Billboard Mainstream Top 40 Chart in 1994 being included in the Reality Bites Movie Soundtrack Album). The album reached number one in several countries including the US (Billboard Top 200 Albums Chart) selling 14 million copies worldwide and was Certified 5x Platinum by RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America). Comes in glossy gatefold cover (never unfolded as album still has the factory shrink wrap) and glossy printed inner sleeves with lyrics (never taken out as both vinyl are housed in separate original white generic sleeves) and credits. Sound post production for the album and movie done at A&M Studios, Hollywood. Post production engineering by David Tickle. All live recording by Remote Recording Services (The Black Truck) operated by David Hewitt with Phil Gitomer, Fritz Lang, J.B. Matteotti. Mastered by Arnie Acosta, A&M Mastering Studios, L.A. Manufactured by Columbia House Under License (Photo #6) indicating a club edition release/pressing. G1 in matrix / runouts indicate this is Pressed at Columbia Records Pressing Plant, Carrollton, GA. Album was purchased sealed with partial shrink wrap tear in the back top/middle sections with only minimal top middle ring impressions/wear (Photo #7) and was played only once except for ‘Van Diemen’s Land’ and ‘Love Rescue Me’ (listened to twice due to Play Test/Grade before item listing). NM/M Play Grade for all of the tracks except for the 1:01 time mark for Van Diemen’s Land (VG+/E for a single loud pop) and 0:23 mark for Love Rescue Me (VG+/E for a single pop). Each track was listened to from start to finish. No skips/jumps nor repeats (needle getting stuck in the groove). Both vinyl are visually graded NM. Photos #9-12 were taken directly under a fluorescent lamp. Album cover graded excellent due to back left top, front left top/left top (Photo #8) and left top/bottom corner wear (Photo #5). No album cover notch/saw cuts, punch/drill holes nor gold promo stamp. Condition is “Used”. Shipped with USPS Media Mail. Payment is due within 5-7 days from the purchase date.
