British hard rock, blues rock, and heavy metal legends UFO began their decades long career in 1968. Sadly, they are no longer together, as many of the original members have either passed away, or currently having health issues. The band celebrated their FIFTY year anniversary in 2018, and toured, but planned shows and tours since then have been cancelled. UFO's legacy of great music, (as well as numerous talented musicians), will keep being rediscovered by each new generation. (RIP Pete Way, Paul Chapman, and Paul Raymond. You guys helped make UFO one of THE premier hard rock bands of the 70s and 80s. You are all missed!)

UFO released an album called 'No Place to Run', in 1980. It was the first to feature Paul Chapman, as he replaced guitar virtuoso Michael Schenker (brother of Rudolf Schenker of The Scorpions). This UFO album was produced by Sir George Martin, famed Beatles producer. The first song from 'No Place to Run' is a track called "Young Blood" (not to be confused with the Bad Company song of the same name). UFO's song was released in a really nice picture sleeve, and on RED vinyl! The front is the album cover's artwork, and the back is a pic of Paul Chapman, wailing on guitar. The vinyl is a blood red color. The record itself looks pretty good, but has a few light surface marks on it, which may or may not be audible. (I can't vouch for the sound quality as I never play specialty vinyl such as picture discs or colored records.) Sleeve looking really, really good with only a tiny bit of shelf-wear on it.

In 1985, UFO released an album called Misdemeanor'. The first single from that album is a song called "This Time", and it was also released on a very limited shaped picture disc. With an odd shape! Like a college pendant. The band's logo is on the A side, with song titles, credits, and strange sketched artwork on the B side. This comes in a clear generic PVC sleeve.

And so you can HEAR the great music of UFO, I'll add their 1992 greatest hits CD. Titled 'Essential UFO', it's a whopping SIXTEEN songs total! Featuring some of their best songs, such as "Doctor, Doctor", "Lights Out", "Only You Can Rock Me", and "Mother Mary", to name just a few. Disc itself looks great, with only a few very light surface marks on it. Nothing bad, or that will affect play. Case looks new.

A sweet triple shot of UFO, guaranteed to rock your world and shake your walls! These guys were awesome, and even though they never became one of the biggest bands in the world, they consistently made great music for several decades. UFO will live on as a fantastic classic rock band, and they leave us a legacy of sweet hard rockin' music that won't soon be forgotten!
