TREES - The Garden Of Jane Delawney (CBS S 63837, Netherlands 1970)
Here we have the 1st album from this fantastic excellent UK folk rock quintet as Dutch original 1st pressing. An incredible LP with the beautiful female vocals from Celia Humphris, the outstanding twin guitar work from David Costa and Barry Clarke....An absolutely milestone in the 70ies UK folk rock field - prog / psych infected with westcoast styled guitar action....Think mostly are familiar with the music of this band through the numerously reissues on cd on vinyl. A name is written with a blue pen on the label on the side one. (see scan). HAVE ALSO THEIR EVENSO FANTASTIC 2nd ALBUM ON THIS AUCTION - AS UK ORIGINAL!!
The fully laminated cover is in very good plus to excellent minus (vg+/ex-) condition, has a (hardly noticable) soft discoloured rectangular field on the front cover - maybe from a sticker remove and in this field some slightly sticker damages. A slightly repaired part on backcover (so 1x1 cm). Some lamination defects - seams and spine are fully intact !!
The record is in very good to very good plus (vg/vg+) condition, shows many paperscuffs / hairlines - NO deep scratches. Plays fine with several surface cracklings on some parts, only in a few places mediocre surface cracklings - but also NOT in a very loud or disturbing way - a satisfying copy, if you´re not a mint freak !!

Imortant: Please don´t bid on "G" or "VG" records, and then you are disappointed if you don´t become a MINT copy - unfortunately this is not possible. Also you are bidding on vinyl records - and NOT CDs - that means, that also new records made some surface cracklings here and there and some of the old (especially privat pressings) are NOT hifi demonstration records !!!
