ULTRA VIOLET Seriously Rare 1973 Unreleased ANDY WARHOL Beautiful SEALED
DEFINITE Vintage pressing of this item, NOT a current reissue. ALL of my auctions are US pressings unless otherwise noted.ALL CANADIAN RESIDENTS WILL HAVE TO PAY THE H.S.T. IF I DON'T COLLECT IT I STILL HAVE TO PAY IT, SO PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT IT IS MANDATORY THAT I DO RECEIVE IT.
This item comes from the collection of a former A list Radio DJ. Many of the items I have listed are 1st pressings, as they were amongst the first copies issued on a PROMOTIONAL Basis only, and were the initial press run previous to the copies being available to the public for sale. Most are in NEAR MINT condition and appear UNPLAYED, as this programmer would keep his play copy and archive copy totally separate, and what I am selling is his archive copy. Many have the A1 & B1 in the matrix numbers in the run out groove, or other such markings that signify the very first copies to be issued, and were pressed using the initial master plates. On many occasions these are viewed as the best sounding copies ever produced. Many also come with Original Company inner sleeves, Promo only inserts and more. Most of the items I have listed can be your final upgrade for condition. Archive worthy.
ORIGINAL pressing on the CAPITOL label. Possibly the nicest Copy of this Incredibly Rare album ever Released. Recorded and released only as a PROMO (as this copy is) in 1973, and never commercially released despite being manufactured in small numbers. This Warhol associated artist was given the chance to make an album, and then the execs pulled the release at the very last minute. Only a few copies got out, and here is a Beautiful SEALED copy. I do not think a SEALED copy has ever been offered for sale. Andy is responsible for the Polaroid picture on the back Cover. I do not think I will ever see another copy like this one ever again. An incredible addition to any Warhol collection.
Condition on this item is SEALED and lays flat. Only a small delete hole is in the upper right corner. Most copies have this feature because most were all PROMO COPIES as this one is, and this hole is the identifying marking. there is some extremely light rippling to the cover, but really it is barely there. There are NO spine problems or wear of any other sort. I am being very conservative with the grading of this item owing to its Hyper Rarity. I can honestly say that this is a BEAUTIFUL condition copy, and that any purchaser should be very happy with it.
