Description
Uniques 'Ah-Yuh' c/w 'Just A Mirage' 1969 Trojan g to VG visual both sides. Haven't come across a copy in some time especially one that doesn't have any writing on the labels. Glossy among the surface, wear marks. Some scratches but will play on full treble. Tune to behold on the turntable. Tight bass, background tick ,audible scratches,etc here and there vg- to vg both sides. Pressed like a tank.

Slim Smith in lead vocals, Winston Lowe and Lloyd Tyrell produced sides, two superb vocals both from soul classic originals...."That's the Way Love is" (aka Just a Mirage) is from the Isley Brothers original from 1967 , and "Ah Yuh" (aka Hey You) is from "You Always Hurt Me" by the Impressions....reggae cuts to Ah Yuh include this one and it's instrumental boss organ and dj cut "Doctor Jekyll" by Dave Barker with Lloyd Charmers (Tyrell) ; "Hey You" by The Chantells for Phase 1 producer Roy Francis in 1977 ; "A Yuh" by Cornell Campbell produced by L.Carter on Carter label , later released on Wackies with added syndrum and almost always thought of as a Wackies production but definitely not ; the actual Wackies production cut by Wayne Jarrett with b-side "Ah You" by his cousin Mikey Jarrett ; "Hey You" by Jimmy Riley on Joe Gibbs label Errol T in 1980 ; and a dub cut by the Aggrovators called Malcolm X dub .....

Trying to upload a youtube video of both sides. Not happening yet! Technical stuff! I can say I just played it again and it really is a great pressing, shiny,gloss, some surface, some clicks but more light background mainly once song gets established.The Song is always up front where it matters. Strong thundering reggae bass. A full treble VG audio to possibly more on relisten. Will try and upload the sound onthis and others listed if technicallly permitting.....oh and thanks for the offers on this one, We fully understand why anyone would make a sizeable offer on thisTrojan 7”. it's almost as hard to let this piece of reggae gold go on auction!! Both sides are pure reggae class.....
