WOW WHAT A FIND !!! This is a RARE ORIGINAL UNRELEASED IMMEDIATE MUSIC DEMO, DOUBLE SIDED ACETATE SINGLE, UK IMMEDIATE MUSIC / EMIDISC ACETATE PRESSING - PSYCH / FREAKBEAT ACETATE by ARTHUR BROWN + THE EXCELSIOR SPRING from 1968, ORIGINAL UK UNRELEASED DEMO ACETATE PRESSING IN AMAZING CONDITION !!!
This is a RARE AND GREAT - PSYCH / FREAKBEAT - UNRELEASED DEMO ACETATE single that I SUSPECT IS THE ONLY ONE IN EXISTENCE !!! This is a RARE AND UNIQUE ACETATE from THE EXCELSIOR SPRING who were MIKE FINESILVER + PETER KER who were also song writers signed to IMMEDIATE MUSIC and wrote most of LOVE SCULPTURE output, THE CRAZY WORLD OF ARTHUR BROWN and also a great PSYCH single for ELLI on Parlophone in 1967 !!! One side has vocals by ARTHUR BROWN (from the CRAZY WORLD OF ARTHUR BROWN), FINESLIVER and KER co-wrote his hit single “FIRE” and some of his other output, I suspect this was intended as a single or an album track for THE CRAZY WORLD OF ARTHUR BROWN but for one reason or another NEVER SAW A RELEASE !!! The other side has the same track with vocals by MIKE FINSELIVER !!! THE EXCELSIOR SPRING released ONE AND ONLY single on INSTANT RECORDS I’m 1968 which was comped on the: INSTANT KARMA and PSYCHEDELIC ARCHIVES: UK PSYCHEDELIA VOL. 2 and REAL LIFE PERMANENT DREAM and WE CAN FLY 3 and THE IMMEDIATE ALTERNATIVE amongst many others !!! This ACETATE came from the IMMEDIATE MUSIC library which I bought !!!

The ACETATE was pressed by IMMEDIATE MUSIC on EMIDISC ACETATE.
The condition of the ACETATE is in EX / EX+ condition (PROBABLY NEVER PLAYED BEFORE I DID, light sleeve scuffs only, Better then most ACETATES of this age, plays great with only mild crackle as ACETATES tend to have) !!!
AFTER A FEW PROBLEMS ALL ITEMS OVER £20.00 WILL HAVE TO BE SENT REGISTERED / INSURED AT AN EXTRA COST OF £1.50 (UK), £5.20 (REST OF THE WORLD) NO EXCEPTIONS !!!
