Well, this was the start of something HUGE! Here we have the very first pressing of the Beatles' first released album, from the 22nd of March 1963.
It was the first and only time the MONO version was released before the STEREO version.
She entered the charts on the 6th of April and climbed to the top slot-staying there for a huge CONSECUTIVE 30 weeks, from May!...Maybe HUGE is too small a word for it?!

G++. She carries the marks of a good few parties ;) However, I have just finished listening to the whole album and found a nice sound reproduction.
On side 1, track 1, there are a few tiny skips, but I am sure they will play over with a slightly heavier stylus and would benefit from a professional clean.
There is some backgound noise throughout-mainly in the quieter section, but surprisingly enough a lot less than expected.
Still raw and powerful!

The labels: VG-. There is something quite unusual about this label as the central 'push-out' disc has an extra lip around the edge...???Never see that before and not sure what it means...
There is some hole wear to both sides, as well as general rubbing-please see the detailed pictures provided.

The "M..T" of the MZT tax code is just visible to the naked eye, on side 2.
Carries the 1st printing with the DICK JAMES CREDITS:

The Cover: Unfortunately the cover has seen better days. The back of the ORIGINAL Ernest. J. Day has some lifting in areas from the flip back. There is also a split to the top right corner.
The whole of the album has been laminated again...(including a name under it..)
 Angus McBean is in the extreme bottom right corner on the front. The front cover is still very bright.
ALL ORIGINAL!! WOULD STILL LOOK GOOD FRAMED.

The inner: EX+! Original "Use Emitex" plastic lined inner. In TOP SHAPE!
