PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER). OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.
INCREDIBLY RARE original white label PROMOTIONAL first UK pressing of this cult Bristol trip hop/lounge/downtempo/breakbeat outfit's full-length vinyl debut from August 8, 1994 on Coldcut's legendary Ninja Tune label in a single sleeve with original double-sided insert sheet with Ninja Tune's Clink Street London address featuring a band biography on one side and a mail-in survey on the reverse (this was 26 years ago, mind you, before the internet age) for radio station/club DJs to weigh in!!! Even has the old-school Ninja Tune logo before it was changed to the vinyl-hurling image most people are familiar with! LPs are a gorgeous VG++/NM-. Massive Attack and Tricky received most of the glory when it came to Bristol's trip hop scene but for my money these guys had them beat, incorporating a far more diverse range of styles into their oeuvre. Only one copy of this white label promo has surfaced in the last 12 years and it will most likely be a lot longer before another one comes up for sale so don't sleep trip hop/Ninja collectors.
