Welcome to 'Its the vinyl countdown' music auctions. Here you will find some of the most incredible rare records and music memorabilia for your collection. We pride ourselves on auctioning only the highest grade records and items, you will not see anything listed here below EX+ condition, unles the item is extremely rare. You will not see worn covers, warped records or scratched records. We simply do not bother with them.
We list in many cases, 'Archived' & 'mint' condition items, we are able to source from private collections all over the UK. So we hope you can be put at ease that what you are bidding on is of the highest quality.
We play through most of the records, unless the item is clearly mint, or sealed..in which case we don't play them, thus maintaining their 'unplayed' status! Obviously with some of these rare items there will be the odd 'anomoly' along the way , the odd little static pop or lead in 'sizzle' for a split second.. nothing is perfect we find! all systems differ, but we aim to describe these as accurately as possible for you.... As you can see, this vinyl is the EARLIEST A1 B1 ORIGINAL pressing- Stored from new this LP has been preserved for over 45 years in super condition, only afewlight marks none of which sound
IT REALLY IS A SUPERB PLAY EXAMPLE OF THIS HIGHEST PRIZED HEEP LP
STUNNING!
This SUPER HEAVYWEIGHT VERY FIRST pressing is a superb vinyl which has retained its amazing glossy sheen and finish.
There is no dulling anywhere and overall it is in incredible condition for an LP of this age.
The edges are silky smooth, typical of these vintage pressings. We are seing fewer and fewer copies of this LP, so rarely do we see a copy at all, let alone like this.
A FEW SPIDER LINES ONLY, NO WEAR TO THE HOLE
HEAVYWEIGHT PRESS
There are some whisp lines, a few light hailrines and a couple of feint scuffs, BUT NONE OF THIS AFFECTS THE PLAY AT ALL!
IT REMAINS IN ASTONISHING PLAY CONDITION.
On playing through we heard some lead in static in the dead grooves.., alittle light static inbetween the trzcks, but during the quiet passages (July morning) only some very feint static crackle in the front of the track -
no jumps, sticks, pops, or unwanted noise it is a really superb listen
OVERALL THIS IS SIMPLY A MUST FOR ANY FINAL UPGRADE COLLECTION. YOU WILL NOT SEE BETTER.

This is in SUPER incredible condition, quite amazing how it has survived so clean.
Most copies we see are always badly ring worn and suffer white rub everywhere- damage to the mirror, scuffing and general tattiness...this is a super clean example
The edges have some traces of rub, and some tip rub and a little squash here and there , but all colours and inks remain in outstanding condition
No powdery white ringwear - some light ring press only
some tip rub & spider lines on the edges
the mirror itself is superb clean wiht no damage or dulling of any note
the die cut has a small 'nick' on the bottom corners
The spine edge is a bit squashed in places and has some rub
The open edge remains in sharp condition -superb.
We cannot add any more than this! Overall for such a rare sleeve, this is still a cracker, and a worthy bid!
