Welcome to 'Its the vinyl countdown' music auctions. Here you will find some of the most incredible rare records and music memorabilia for your collection. You will not see worn covers, warped records or scratched records. We simply do not bother with them.

We list in many cases, 'Archived' & 'mint' condition items, we are able to source from private collections all over the UK. So we hope you can be put at ease that what you are bidding on is of the highest quality.

We play through most of the records, unless the item is clearly mint, or sealed..in which case we don't play them, thus maintaining their 'unplayed' status!  Obviously with some of these rare items there will be the odd 'anomoly' along the way , the odd little static pop or lead in 'sizzle' for a split second.. nothing is perfect we find! all systems differ, but we aim to describe these as accurately as possible for you.... PLEASE ENJOY THIS ITEM YOU ARE NOW LOOKING AT..

THE VINYL   EX+  INCREDIBLE  CONDITION

As you can see, this vinyl is the  EARLIEST A1 B1 ORIGINAL pressing- Stored from new this LP has seen WAY BELOW AVERAGE CAREFUL PLAYS, and remains in SUPERB condition everywhere.

It has been archived from new until now- an immaculate  HEAVYWEIGHT vinyl!

This pressing is a superb vinyl which has retained its amazing glossy sheen and finish. There is no dulling anywhere and overall it is in incredible condition for an LP of this age. The edges are silky smooth, typical of these vintage pressings. We are seing fewer and fewer copies of this LP, so rarely do we see a copy at all, let alone like this.

HEAVYWEIGHT 'LOUD CUT' PRESS

There are some very light whisp lines, and a few tiny light hairlines that don't spoil theplay at all-  nothing else!  Just a few little dust specs are on the vinyl when we slid it for checking..

IT REMAINS IN ASTONISHING PLAY CONDITION.

On playing through we heard nothing bar the tiniest of lead in static in the dead grooves..just the odd little static in  a few places along the way - a superb listen-

OVERALL THIS IS SIMPLY A MUST FOR ANY FINAL UPGRADE COLLECTION. YOU WILL NOT SEE BETTER.

Correct  first UK issued earliest MATT FINISH MIRRORED DIE CUT sleeve  -with the  INNER TEXTURED LYRIC SHEET

Noted for the fact the mirrored sheet is completely covered by the inner 'skin' of the front cover.. second presses had the mirror stuck inside a single card finish, this is the 'doubled' version - RARE.

YOU CAN 'FEEL' THE THICKNESS... NOT FLIMSY LIKE THE LATER ONES.

 This is in simply incredible condition, quite amazing how it has survived so clean.

FINDING THIS SLEEVE IN EVEN GOOD CONDITION IS RARE THESE DAYS.. FINDING ONE BETTER IS BEYOND RARE..

HERE WE HAVE UNEARTHED A BEAUTY...

Most copies we see are always badly ring worn and suffer white rub everywhere- Torn die cut, scratched and dulled miirror... HOWEVER LOOK AT THIS! this is a superb clean example

THE INKS ARE PRISTINE with no white rub of any note

THE DIE CUT IS SUPERB EXCEPT ON SIDE HAS ONE SMALL LIGHT TEAR

THERE IS BARELY ANY DULLING ON THE MIRROR ITSELF (RARE!")

The edges are all super clean with just some light traces of rub , and all colours and inks remain in outstanding condition

No powdery white ringwear - 

some slight tip rub  &  just a couple of tiny spider lines on the edges

The spine edge is totally unmarked with no wear. Just a couple of spider lines

The open edge remains in immaculate sharp condition -superb.
