This record has been vacuum machine cleaned and test played in full on quality hi-fi. My grading is based on the UK record collector grading system.  I will gladly combine postage on multiple items so check out my other records. Thanks

Details:- From my own personal collection - MEGA RARE MUCH SOUGHT AFTER ORIGINAL SWIRL 1st UK PRESS  OF SALISBURY BY URIAH HEEP. RELEASED 1971 ON THE ORIGINAL VERTIGO SWIRL LABEL  6360028. THE RECORD IS HOUSED IN THE ORIGINAL SWIRL INNER SLEEVE AND UNLAMINATED GATEFOLD. 6360028 1Y*1 420 1 3, 6360028 2Y*1  1 5. THIS RARE RECORD WILL BE SHIPPED SIGNED FOR ONLY.

Vinyl Condition:- THE RECORD IS IN SUPERB CONDITION. VISUALLY EX+ TO MINT- (minus). SOUND QUALITY 100% MINT- (minus). TOP AUDIO. NO TRACKWEAR, NO DISTORTION, NO CLICKS. AS GOOD AS IT GETS. GLEAMING VINYL WITH NOTHING MORE THAN FINE WISPY LINES CAUSED BY THE SLEEVE. THESE ARE ONLY VISIBLE WHEN THE RECORD IS VIEWED AT AN ANGLE UNDER BRIGHT LIGHT. THIS RECORDS HAS HAD VERY LITTLE PLAY INDEED. This record has been fully test played before this auction.

Sleeve Condition:- VG+. THE FRONT IS PRETTY MUCH PERFECT. THE BACK HAS A LITTLE RUBBING WEAR IN PLACES. INSIDE THE GATEFOLD THERE ARE TWO AREAS OF WHITE SPECKLES (SEE PHOTO) AND SOME RUBBING WEAR MAINLY NEAR THE EDGES. THERE IS ONLY VERY TINY WEAR ON THE EDGES AND CORNERS. APART FROM A VERY SMALL SCUFF ON THE SPINE IT IS CRISP AND FULLY READABLE.THE BLACK AND WHITE SWIRL INNER IS A LITTLE BROWNED WITH AGE AND HAS SOME LIGHT CREASES. THERE ARE NO SPLITS OR RIPS. THERE IS A SMALL STICKER ON ONE CORNER

Label Condition:- EX. NICE CLEAN LABELS. NO WEAR AROUND THE SPINDLE HOLE AND JUST A FEW FINE WISPY SPINDLE MARKS

Grading below is as stated from UK Record Collector. I also use +/- for records that fall somewhere between a grade

Mint (M)

The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

Excellent (EX)

The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good (VG)

The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable

Good (G)

The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc

Fair (F)

The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

Poor (P)

The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing

Bad (B)

The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler

CD’s and CASSETTES

As a general rule CD’s and Cassettes either play perfectly – in which case they are in Mint condition – or they don’t, in which case their value is minimal. Cassette tape is liable to deteriorate with age, even if it remains unplayed, so care should be taken when buying old tapes. CD’s are difficult to grade visually; they can look perfect but actually be faulty, while in other cases they may appear damaged but still play perfectly. Cassette and CD inlays and booklets should be graded in the same way as record covers and sleeves. In general, the plastic containers for cassettes and CDs can easily be replaces if they are broken or scratched, but card covers and digipaks are subject to the same wear as record sleeves.
