URIAH HEEP - Very Eavy Very Umble - UK 1st Press Vertigo Swirl Vinyl LP
This is one of the very first pressings:
There are no song credits on the label. Subsequent Vertigo Swirl pressings all have these.
There is a misprint in the track order on the
Sleeve ( track 2 side one belongs as track 2
side two and visa versa)
This misprint only occurred on some of the very first presses.
Matrix numbers are:
Side 1 : 1Y // 1 v 420 1 1 4
Side 2 : 2Y // 1 v 420 1 1 4
Vinyl Condition : Vinyl is Excellent+ and looks Great even under a bright light.
The audio is crystal clear and it is a joy to list to this 1st press quality. The stereo separation and clarity of sound is astonishing.
The LP plays with stunning quality for the vast majority with only minimal interference in run ups, between tracks and in
just one or two quieter sections.
It is clear to see that this vinyl has been very well cared for over the years.
Not easy to find any first pressing in this condition - let alone one with rarities mentioned above. You might not get many opportunities to buy this early version with this label and a sleeve misprint in this condition.
The label (side 2) does have a few light spindle marks - but these are only really visible under light at an angle.
Sleeve Condition : The sleeve is in excellent condition. Please see the pictures. The edges and spine are all in great condition with no rubbing etc.
There has been some slight catching on the inside.
The laminate is sound and still retains most of its shine. ( see photos )
Inner Sleeve: Clean with no splits - some signs of 50 years of ageing with slight discolouration
