URIAH HEEP Very 'Eavy Very 'Umble UK 1ST PRESS VERTIGO SWIRL 6360 006 1Y1/2Y1
Original UK 1st pressing - EARLIEST POSSIBLE:
- Laminated gatefold sleeve
- 1Y1/2Y1 matrix with earliest 1 1 1 stampers in deadwax
- VO6 price code on rear sleeve
- Large swirl label with 'VERTIGO' below spindle hole
- '420' UK country code stamped into deadwax
A side matrix (stamped):

A SIDE
Vinyl is visually VG+, just a few light hairlines and superficial surface marks, plays nicely with superb tone, a little light background crackle only, a few light pops here and there but only on track 1, rest of side 1 plays much better. 'Come Away Melinda' plays particularly nicely at the very start which is very impressive due to its quieter acoustic background, however I noticed some mild distortion towards the middle of that track. Plays as VG+ overall. Still a nice copy overall.
B SIDE
Vinyl is visually only VG+ with a few light hairlines. Plays with light background crackle on initial run in, tone and volume is excellent again on this very first UK pressing. A few clicks halfway through track 1 and just near the end. Rest of side 2 plays very nicely.
OUTER SLEEVE
Sleeve is in EX condition with very little wear to edges or spine, a few laminate creases, couple of touch ups to corners. Very nice copy.
LABELS
Labels are very clean with a few spindle traces visible.
INNER SLEEVE
Original Vertigo swirl inner sleeve in VG condition
