United Mutations Fugitive Family 7"EP Dischord #10 7/8
DESCRIPTION: Mint condition copy of "Fugitive Family" 7-song 7" EP by United Mutation. This is from the first pressing of 1,000 done in 1983 at Nashville Record Productions, where all the early Dischord records were pressed. This is a split-label release, between DSI Records (DSI Records #1, Dunn Loring, Virginia) and Dischord Records (Dischord No. 10 7/8, Washington, DC). Engineered by good old Don Zientara at Inner Ear Studios in Arlington, Virginia. Produced by United Mutation, Don Zientara, and Bert Queiroz (Untouchables/Youth Brigade/Manifesto) Band consisted of Mike Brown on vocals, John Fox on Guitar, Jay Fox on Bass (brothers who ran DSI) and Bill Fox on drums. Includes double-sided lyric sheet.CONDITION / PROVENANCE: Record, Sleeve and lyric sheet are all in mint condition, and have been kept in a plastic sleeve away from light and dust for the last 29 years. Record has never been played. This record is unconditionally guaranteed to be original, from 1983. It comes from my (Jeff Nelson - Minor Threat/Dischord Records) punk archives, which are being downsized after continuing to be described as "too big" and "insane" or containing "more than my potential kids or grandkids will ever want."
