Uriah Heep Salisbury Heavy Rock Vinyl Record UK 1971 Bronze A2/B2.
A stunning second album from true pioneers of the heavy rock genre. Monster guitar fills, pounding drums and David Byron's falsetto vocals, have ensured that this album has become a genuine cult classic. The wonderful blend of heavy guitar and organ-led quieter progressive moments, have mystified and inspired countless generations of music fans since its original release in 1970. A must have for all true rockers!
VINYL: The surface of the vinyl has a few superficial marks probably caused by repeated removal from the inner bag over the years. However, none of these are feelable and they do not cause any nasty issues. The record plays with slight background crackle and the odd pop, which can only be heard, very lightly, in the quieter moments. These do not distract from the overall audio quality, which sounds great throughout. One to turn up to 11 and rock out to!
LABEL: Side one looks stunning - as good as the day it was released. Side two has two scuffs (see picture).
SLEEVE: The iconic gatefold sleeve looks great, despite having a bit of edge wear, the onset of ring wear (see picture) and a few age related creases. The imagery still looks great and the writing on the front, back and inside is still clearly visible. The spine is a bit worn and some of the writing has faded. A well used sleeve but one that still looks fab!
This record has been play tested, honestly described and carefully graded.
