Description
This is a superb example of a very rare and much sought after record in wonderful condition.
UK first pressing of "Triad" by Spontaneous Combustion released in 1972 on Harvest.
Catalogue number: SHVL 805. Die-cut outer sleeve with three original portrait inserts.
The outer is in EX+ condition with only minimal faint ringwear at the extreme top and bottom of the sleeve. The band name, title and Cat. number can all be read clearly on the spine. An almost imperceptible tiny letter (F) is written in weak biro above the band name on the front cover (see photo). The vinyl itself is in Near Mint condition without any scratches or scuffs and it retains its original shiny lustre.
This record was only ever spun a handful of times and then stored safely on a shelf. Plays beautifully with a rich and bright sound that belies the age of the music itself. The side one label bears a very small patch of discolouration which resulted from the removal of a small sticker. Overall both labels are in fantastic condition without any cracks or visible spindle wear.
The three inserts show no signs of damage and feature portrait photos of the three band members on one side with track listing and lyrics on the reverse. the record comes in the original record label house sleeve.
This record would be a magnificent addition to any true music lover's collection!!
