V/A"Jump Jamaica Way" original 1963 UK Skabeat LP Rare

Various artists "Jump Jamaica Way", extremely rare original Skabeat UK issue of this great Studio One Ska compilation from 1963, (JBL 1111). This is an excellent compilation featuring many top artists including The Maytals, Don Drummond, Lester Sterling, Tommy McCook, The Charmers and the lesser known Harris Seaton, R. Willis and Winston Stewart, some great tunes, please see the scans for the full track listing.
Visually the A side has noticeable, but very light scuffing and a few very, very light scratches/marks. The B side has a little very light scuffing and perhaps 5 small and very, very slight marks. The A side is not bad, but the B side is in really nice condition for a Ska LP of this age.
Play grading:
Track 1 slight, intermittent background crackle.
Track 2 slight background crackle.
Track 3 very, very slight background crackle, barely noticeable, it plays well.
Track 4 plays really well, clean and with a lovely tone to boot.
Track 5 slight surface noise at the start and some occasional very slight crackle, there are also 7 tiny and very slight clicks.
Track 6 plays cleanly with no problems.
Track 7 slight background noise, it plays with some slight background crackle and one tiny pop.
Track 8 very slight background crackle and one tiny pop.
Track 9 plays really well with very little background noise or crackles.
Track 10 plays well with just a tiny bit of crackle.
Track 11 plays very well, any hint of noise is kept at bay by the vigorous horns.
track 12 plays really well and cleanly with barely a hint of noise.
Both labels are in lovely condition, absolutely perfect with only a single spindle mark on either side. Please note that the brown fringe on the scans is a scanner artifact and both labels are totally black.
The front of the sleeve is lovely, the laminate has minimal creasing, the corners are very slightly dented and there is minor wear along the opening. The rear of the sleeve has discoloured slightly from age and other than along the seams of the laminate has very little dirt. Along side the track listing there is some red writing, this appears to be biro and may be removeable. The spine and both other seams are in excellent condition with absolutely no signs of splitting or problems other than the previously noted corner wear.
