Not only the best VDGG album, but the best progressive rock album of all time, IMHO. This is a reissue of the original 1972 LP on the Charisma label, U.S. edition, with "Theme One" sandwiched between Lemmings and Man Erg on the A-side, which is the way I personally prefer the album. (The original UK version did not include Theme One, and the band preferred it that way> I can attest to that as I've spoken with Peter Hammill and Guy Evans about it.)

This is the only release of this album on the 4 Men With Beards label, a US record label founded by Filippo Salvadori in San Francisco, California in 2001, and specializing in high quality vinyl reissues on selected albums. Copies of this record on this label are uncommon.

Cover and vinyl are both Near Mint, played only a couple of times on audiophile equipment.
