ORIGINAL UK CHARISMA (CAS 1120) FIRST PRESSING (October 1976) OF VAN DER GRAAF'S "World Record" LP - IN BEAUTIFUL CONDITION (this copy has seen little, if any play - there are no real signs of use on the labels and the vinyl surfaces are unmarked) AND IT DELIVERS PRACTICALLY FLAWLESS AUDIO THROUGHOUT (ON MY SYSTEM - AT A LOUD VOLUME!) - FANTASTIC COPY OF THIS FIRST PRESSING WHICH IS INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND IN DECENT PLAYING CONDITION

THE RECORD IS HOUSED IN THE ORIGINAL SINGLE MATT SLEEVE WITH BACK PRINTED LYRICS "Printed in England by James Upton Ltd."
AND COMES COMPLETE WITH THE ORIGINAL PLAIN WHITE POLY-LINED INNER SLEEVE

LABELS: Clean, bright and fresh labels with hardly any signs of use. The side one label has a circular mark (please see close-up photos) but otherwise they are like-new
?VINYL Visual: Both surfaces retain their original deep, glossy sheen and are practically unmarked - this copy is either completely unplayed or played just a few times and very, very carefully handled
VINYL Audio: Gorgeous audio reproduction on this first pressing (even thought the cut is fairly quiet) with a crystal clear and detailed sound - deep, rich and beautifully warm. On careful play at a very, very loud volume (due to the quiet cut) there are no scratches, no sticks/jumps, no clicks/pops and barely any surface noise (just an occasional touch on some of the quietest sections - but I did play-grade at a VERY loud volume) otherwise, the whole LP plays beautifully from start to finish with no groove-wear, no distortion (it's possibly never been played), sounds superb and is critically graded EXCELLENT++ for audio - great copy and very hard to find one which plays this well (especially on high-end audio systems) - certainly the best I have heard
?SLEEVE: The untreated matt sleeve is clean and unmarked with just a little wear to the top and bottom edges and a crisp, sharp spine with all text clear and bold. There is a little record impression but none of the common heavy ring so often found on this sleeve. Overall, a very, very fine example indeed - EXCELLENT
