Description
This is a MINT, UNPLAYED, BRAND NEW copy of this item, obtained directly from the vaults of the Marble Music company, an entity shown on the label. Those of you obsessed with virginity, take note.
I've googled that this record's style is doo-wop, but can't vouch for sure as I did not play the record. It has never been played.
Matrix data on the "Gift of Love" side: a triangle followed by 30867; then halfway around the center, 45 S-100 Matrix data on "Guardian Angel" side: a triangle followed by 30868; then halfway around the center, 45 S-101
Everything's engraved by hand; no machine-stampings.
The "Catalano" listed as co-songwriter on the label is Vince Catalano; he was an original doo-wopper involved in the Trickles (circa 1956); the Acorns (circa 1960); and the Laurels (circa 1963). In 1962 he co-wrote, with Herb Alpert, a song the early Beach Boys did, called "Little Girl, You're My Miss America." Go Vince!
