Description
I am selling off my father's record collection. He passed away in December last year. He was an avid collector, and these are the remnants of his collection. This is a very rare MGM 1972 UK gatefold re-issue with the pink banana under a professionaly reproduced vinyl yellow banana skin sticker. The sticker was reproduced by a litho-plate maker before computer scanning was common (late 80's early 90's). It still sticks well and can easy be peeled back to reveal pink banana (naughty Andy!). This IS NOT one of the replacement stickers sold on ebay (but maybe these are more realistic, I have never seen one). I am grading them by the Record Collector's Magazine guide. The album cover is VERY GOOD rather than excellent due to a tape repair inside gatefold, top right strip, as shown in photo's. The vinyl is EXCELLENT, no sign of any scratches, pops or crackeles Side 1 - matrix 2315056 A//1 420 1 1 3 04 = excellent Side 2 - matrix 2315056 B//1 420 1 2 3 04 = excellent As I am not a professional tradesman, if following purchase you do not agree with grading, all records are returnable. To limit my cost exposure I will only refund item purchase price, not delivery postage. I hope thats ok. For album playlist and recording history, use google. All items posted will be re-inforced with cardboard inserts, and records mailed out of original inner-sleeves so as to not bust inner-sleeve edges during post. For items sold for value over £5, I will only offer recorded delivery. I can post Iin UK for £4.50 but this is not insured, at your risk. I recommend Special Delivery, at my risk.
