1988 ~ Homestead ~ HMS 095-1 ~ Audiophile Vinyl Original First Issue + Lyric Insert

VINYL : NM- : Extremely black and glossy with very little visible evidence of play. Pressed on translucent, dark amber vinyl
COVER : NM- : Spine and seams intact. Minor shelf and ring wear. Glossy finish.
INSERT: 11x11, with lyrics.
LABELS: Very sharp. 
NOTES: First U.S. issue of this classic by the legendary New Zealand trio. Original version included two-sided lyric sheet and audiophile vinyl.

A SIMPLE VINYL GRADING SYSTEM :

Mint: Sealed/Unplayed/Unopened/The Holy Grail/Not used on an opened item.
Mint minus (M-): New and Possibly Unplayed ; a rarely used grade at Bear's Wax.
Near Mint (NM): Like-new, with very little or no visible wear; very scarce & very collectible.
Near Mint minus (NM-): Almost like-new, very slight signs of play or wear that are strictly cosmetic. Very nice.
Excellent (EX+ EX EX-): A few steps above VG+, very clean, no serious flaws. Minor wear. Appears seldom spun. Nice.
Very Good plus (VG+): Above average LP; a few moderate surface marks or paper scuffs; minor surface noise. Not bad.
Very Good (VG) : Average used LP, several surface marks/a few light scratches. Noisy, plays through, no skips. OK.
Very Good minus (VG-) : Reveals lots of wear & noise when viewed or spun but is not defective or warped. A bit rough.
Good ; Fair; Poor ; all rarely used grades. Well spun and possibly shot. Only worthwhile for very scarce items.

Your item will be packaged with tender loving care by someone who has been obsessed with vinyl  since the early Sixties.All records are securely placed in new inner sleeves (outside their covers)  with new poly sleeves (for the jackets) and then carefully packed inside thick cardboard mailers  with stiff cardboard inserts & sheets of bubble wrap to help provide a safe delivery.  Your package will be shipped as soon as humanly possible. Please remember that Bear's Wax is a 2 person operation.  We really are trying our best and we aim to please. Thanks so much for your patience and understanding.

All records are carefully sight-graded by an old pro who has looked at used records for over 35 years. Keep in mind that used LPs from the '50s & '60s are rarely found in Mint condition & very seldom in actual Near Mint.  

Pictures shown in a bearswaxrecords listing are always of the actual item up for bid.  More photos are available on request.
