Bemerkung:  sehr rare Pressung aus Australien, sollte man nicht unterschätzen. Das Christmas Album wurde dort ganz schön gedisst, d.h. es hatte in Australien eine sehr schlechte Presse und wurde auch von vielen Radiosendern boykottiert. Dementsprechend haben sich die frühen Ausgaben der LP und EP´s dort auch nicht gut verkauft. Wertangabe in Glenn Reimer´s Discographie: $220. Habe ewig gebraucht, um ein Upgrade zu finden - dies ist eine von nur 2 Ausgaben, die ich in fast 40 Jahren Sammelwut auftreiben konnte.

Note:  rare 1st Australian issue from 1959. Do not underestimate the rarity of this record. The Christmas Album had a very bad press in Australia back in the day and many radio stations banned it from airplay. Hence, Elvis´ early Christmas records sold poorely in Down Under. Books for $220 in Glenn Reimer´s discography. It took me an eternity to find an upgrade of this one, so it´s only the 2nd copy I ever had in almost 40 years of collecting.

Die meisten meiner Platten sind 50-60 Jahre alt, und auch visuell gut erhaltene Platten können ggf. stark knistern. Falls Bedenken bestehen, bitte kurz melden, dann überprüfe ich im Einzelfall das Abspielverhalten.
