This really was the birth of progressive rock! It was the Beatles' 9th Lp and what an imapact it had. and still does have. Released on the 1st of June 1967, the album reached number 1 across the board, staying at number 1 for 23 weeks!! With a total of 148 weeks in the charts!!

VG+ Has a lovely dull sheen. Only very light marks to the vinyl, to both sides.

Just finished listening to the whole album and found a wonderful sound reproduction.

Only light and occasional background noise in the quiet sections, which would be reduced with a gentle professional clean-just to get rid of the dust...
The audio reproduction is lovely and rich.

Inner Sleeve: EX+. It is a period die-cut inner with the Patent Nos. as well as MADE IN GREAT BRITIAN.
NO splits, writing or even discolouration.
MAGICAL

Cut-Outs: EX! Yep, that good. Sharp corners and the all important DARK GREEN colour-showing this to be the 1st press.
No need to say anymore-just superb!

The Cover: VG++.
The front cover is still in great condition, as is the back cover and the inner picture. There is a small crease mark to the top right corner of the back gatefold-nothing to be worried about at all.
Still opens with a crackle as if opened for the 1st time back in 1967...Showing a simply glorious full colour picture of The Beatles in all their splendour!
Legible spine.
Barely any spidering at all to the front laminate-just a couple of very small fingers emanating from the spine...that's it!
 I am being incredibly critical as well as honest as possible.
