This really was the birth of progressive rock! It was the Beatles' 9th Lp and what an imapact it had. and still does have. Released on the 1st of June 1967, the album reached number 1 across the board, staying at number 1 for 23 weeks!! With a total of 148 weeks in the charts!!

LOVELY AND EARLY

 Has a lovely sheen. Light marks and light scuffs to the vinyl.
NON-BANDED
After giving her a gentle vacuum clean, I have just finished listening to the whole album and found a solid sound reproduction.
!!!TURN THIS BABY UP LOUD!!! (I did)
There is some light and occasional background noise in the quiet sections, which dissappeared as soon as they arrived...I noticed some revolutionary pops on "Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds"...but nothing too offensive as they didn't last long-certainly not the length of the track.
The audio reproduction remains rich, with some light and occasional background noise-more noticeable inbetween tracks-rather than when the tracks are playing.
There is some crackle (and a revolutionary pop at the start) on "She's Leaving Home."
Slight edge wobble when playing side 1, but not evident when playing side 2 and had no effect on playback.
Still sounds great-turn her up!

It is a DECCA inner with poly-lining and from 1975.
In great condition too.

The front cover is still in great, SOLID condition, as is the back cover and the vibrant inner picture.
Still opens with a crackle as if opened for the 1st time back in 1967...Showing a simply glorious full colour picture of The Beatles in all their splendour.
Legible spine-which carries some light rubbing and a little squashed..Nothing bad at all.
There are around 5 small crescentsof spidering to the front and back of the cover, with some small fingers emanating from the spine & edges...There is also a small sticker of the previous owners name to the top left on the front cover-please see the detailed images attached.
 I am being incredibly critical as well as honest as possible.
