151g
This was the Beatles' second official release, following their hugely popular Please Please Me. This record was released on the 30th November 1963 and went to the number 1 position (knocking of their own Please Please Me lp) on the 7th of December. Staying at number 1 for 21 weeks! As a little note: they had already sold 250,000 copies before the release and so accepted a silver disc BEFORE release!

QUALITY HEAVYWEIGHT 151g VINYL
VG(+). There are just light marks to each side, but I have just listened to the whole record and she plyed through without any skips or jumps.
I found a very good and solid audio reproduction, with only the occasional bit of background noise-which would no doubt be helped with a gentle professional clean.
GORGEOUS flat, heavy and shiny original vinyl.
QUALITY
Labels: VG. Light spindle marks, visible under bright light or when angled towards the light, with a small amount of central hole wear.
Outer text "The Parlophone Co." No "Sold In" text.
Very nice displayable labels.
KT tax code to side 2.
Cover: VG+. Larger Mono in top right corner.
This is a Very Good solid cover.
Very little spideringto this front laminated cover...WOULD FRAME WELL.
Strong Ernest J Day flipbacks...The bottom has some wear, as can be seen in the photo's.
(These Ernest J Day covers are far harder to find as they were printed with an avergage ratio of 10:1 to the usual Garrod & Lofthouse sleeves)
Good strong corners and very strong spine, with just some light 'dings' to the corners-with the top left having themost evident.
As you can see in the images provided, there is some slight discoloration to the back card.

Inner: VG. It is a period inner, with a tracing paper lining. Quite rare in itself as it carries advertising for "Some Outstanding HMV LPs"
Small split to one side.
Certainly done her job by looking after the vinyl for all these years.
All in all this is a very strong copy of a 7N/7N pressing great for the collectors out there....
