Released back in 1967, this album was re-pressed many times in different formats for both the record and the cover....NOW here is an all singing, all dancing original 1967 press.
Issued on the 8th of December...HAPPY CHRISTMAS, with Satanic Majesties!

Matrix numbers:
Side 1: ARL-6126-1P
Side 2: ARL-6127-P1
(These end matricies initially went un-noticed at the very first pressing of this album and were then quickly changed when spotted...Giving the much more common 'T2' (standing for Take 2) prefix of the second pressing inbetween the catalogue number and the end matrix number.
SO THESE PRESSINGS ARE THE TRUE FIRST AND NOT MANY OF THEM COME UP FOR SALE.

Sounds superb!
When I listened to the whole album-WOW-The audio was lovely-clean and clear throughout!
Being incredibly critical: All I noticed was a TINY AMOUNT of very, VERY occasional light background noise-not really worth mentioning at all as she remains lovely and clear with the audio output. Just a few light marks on her-a couple fo scuffs to side 2 and a mark to side 1- which do not provide any problem on play back.
Glorious sheen and weight to the vinyl.

Once again, she really is a glorious copy! Only very light spindle marks-with barely any central hole wear-please see the detailed photo's. The label is a strange design; with the UNBOXED DECCA and the small (Regd) mark next to it on the right, but also the credit of BILL WYMAN in different font to THE ROLLING STONES. I have been unable to identify this side 1 label version, whilst the side 2 label version is: Design No 5 / Version 2, as shown on the website: http://stonesondecca.com/4A10_Satanic.html

THE SLEEVE:

Original "Version 1" 1967 sleeve, with the "MONO TXL 103" printed to the bottom right on the back of the gatefold.
DEEP BLUE AND NOT THE LATER TURQUOISE.
Wonderful condition...Strong UNCRUSHED Spine, Strong, only very slightly scuffed & rubbed corners.
The 3D image to the front is lovely and clean-with Jagger's hat going to his left-the correct way and not the later repro's.
Vibrant colours, with the laminate only having minimal spidering ... not particularly visible at all-that really is it.
Good strong thick card.
I am being incredibly critical....Please see my feedback for gradings.
The inside is as bright as the day she was born.
THE INNER:
VG-.
It is the ORIGINAL 'Whispy Cloud' red and white inner. Still gloriously vibrant, the only downside is a split along the bottom and a smaller one to the side. There is also a degree of feathering to the opening....But: ALL ORIGINAL :)
