PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER). OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.
ULTRA rare original Ode white label promotional copy of this landmark album from 197? Absolutely no Discogs entry for this variant! The only US promotional copy on Ode I have ever owned had the promotional text on the bottom right hand side in a tall, thin font. This pressing has the text on the top in a broad, chunky font!! I have had just about every label variant of this LP pass through my hands in my 40+ years of collecting but I have never seen a US white label promotional copy like this one before. Rare as hens teeth. LP side 1 is VG+ and side 2 is VG with some light scuffs. Cover is VG/VG+ with a few very small pen marks and a small top left hand corner promo hole. This LP had an original Ode copy of So Far Away/Smackwater Jack inside the sleeve for some reason so I'm including it in the auction as well. Vinyl is a beautiful VG++/NM-. Don't sleep as these white labels rarely come up for sale.
I USE GOLDMINE GRADING: MINT (SEALED) NEAR MINT: LOOKS UNPLAYED VG++: VERY VERY MINIMAL SIGNS OF USE VG+: AVERAGE SIGNS OF USE, NOTHING DEEP, SUPERFICIAL VG: STILL AN OK RECORD, NOISE BETWEEN SONGS GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR: FILLER COPY ONLY. LOTS OF SCRATCHES
