PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER). OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.

OFF-THE-CHARTS RARE GNP-2038 MONO gatefold pressing of The Seeds album Future with a completely different label and cover than the standard mono pressing!!! I have had 7 or 8 standard mono copies of this LP pass though my hands in my 40+ years of collecting but I have never seen this variant before. Ever. To the best of my knowledge there was only one mono edition pressed in 1967 which can be easily identified on Discogs but there is NO entry for this pressing whatsoever. For starters there is NO Sky Saxon vocal credit on either side label, Introduction and March Of The Flower Children is split into two lines, side indicators follow the catalog numbers to the right of the center hole, THE SEEDS is in a completely different font above the center hole and Purple Bottle Music and (BMI) are split into two different lines at the bottom as well!! Not only are the labels for this pressing unique, the front cover has the catalog number printed in the top right hand corner as well, unlike the standard mono pressing!! Absolutely rare as hens teeth. LP side 1 is VG+ with a few light paper scuffs and side 2 is VG++ with even fewer and lighter paper scuffs. Cover is a nice VG with NO splits, NO seams and a bit of ring. If you've never seen it before chances are you will never see it again so don't sleep psych collectors!!
