Description

I have up for auction a wonderful and complete Album Set of 2 records (Longer Playing 12" 78s) on the Victor label-neat looking Foldover type with thick paper sleeves. It is Set #SP-9 by Duke Ellington and his Famous Orchestra and entitled "Black, Brown And Beige"-A Saga of the Negro in America as composed and played by Ellington and his orcherstra. Records include: 

1. #28-0400, Part I--"Work Song and Part IV-3 Dances-"West Indian Dance"-"Emancipation Celebration"-"Sugar Hill Penthouse". 

2. #28-0041, Part II--"Come Sunday" and Part III--"The Blues".   

The Set is another from new old stock. The records are in excellent to E+ condition. No wear and scuffs and scratches are very few, light and surface variety. Surfaces still very shiny and clean. Cover/sleeves in great condition as well with great musical descriptions and pictures on each of the 4 faces. Great Jazz Set!!!
