You are bidding for a CLASSIC 60'S ROCK 'N' ROLL/ ROCKABILLY 10INCH LP record by VINCE TAYLOR AND THE PLAYBOYS called LE ROCK C'EST CA issued in FRANCE on the BARCLAY record label in 1961, cat number BA-242 (BLACK AND SILVER LABEL). Side 1; TWENTY FLIGHT ROCK, SWEET LITTLE SIXTEEN, ,DON'T LEAVE ME NOW, C'MON EVERYBODY, SHAKIN' ALL OVER. Side 2; LONG TALL SALLY, LOVE ME, LOVIN' UP A STORM, SO GLAD YOOUR MINE, BABY LET'S PLAY HOUSE. The record is in excellent condition with excellent labels. The record has no wear with no slight scuffs and no slight surface scratches and plays with no jumps and clicks and a minimum of surface noise. The original picture sleeve is also excellent... CLASSIC ROCK 'N' ROLL/ ROCKABILLY ALBUM from VINCE TAYLOR featuring EIGHT CLASSIC ROCKABILLY tracks on this his DEBUT album. VINCE TAYLOR, started out in the UK backed by the PLAYBOYS at LONDON'S famed 2I'S COFFEE BAR in SOHO and he recorded a number of CLASSIC ROCKABILLY tracks that were not hits but have since been recognised as CULT CLASSICS. Moving to FRANCE he became a huge star as a top rock and roller causing riots wherever he played and releasing a number off great rocking albums with the much underrated PLAYBOYS. it all went downhill fast when he discovered drugs, and he announced himself as the MESSIAH on a PARIS stage, becoming the model for DAVID BOWIE'S ZIGGY STARDUST. . RARE in good condition, from my own collection.
