You are bidding for a CLASSIC 70'S ROCK 'N' ROLL/ ROCKABILLY LP record by VINCE TAYLOR called SUPER ROCK issued in FRANCE on the BARCLAY record label in 1974, cat number 950.024 (BLACK AND PINK LABEL, MONO/STEREO). Side 1; SWEET LITTLE SIXTEEN, 20 FLIGHT ROCK, SHAKING ALL OVER, BLUE JEAN BOP, MEAN WOMAN BLUES, C'MON EVERYBODY. Side 2; READY TEDDY, LONG TALL SALLY, LOVIN' UP A STORM, SO GLAD YOUR MINE, HELLO MARIE LOU, MEMPHIS TENNESSEE. The record is in excellent condition with excellent labels. The record has little wear with few slight scuffs and few slight surface scratches and plays with no jumps and clicks and a minimum of surface noise. The original picture sleeve is also excellent.. CLASSIC ROCK 'N' ROLL/ ROCKABILLY ALBUM from VINCE TAYLOR featuriing CLASSIC ROCKABILLY/ ROCK 'N' ROLL STANDARD tracks . VINCE TAYLOR, started out in the UK backed by the PLAYBOYS at LONDON'S famed 2I'S COFFEEE BAR in SOHO and he recorded a number of CLASSIC ROCKABILLY tracks that were not hits but have since been recognised as CULT CLASSICS. Moving to FRANCE he became a huge star as a top rock and roller causing riots wherever he played and releasing a number off great rocking albums with the much underated PLAYBOYS. it all went downhill fast when he discoveredf drugs, and he announced himself as the MESSIAH on a PARIS stage, becoming the model for DAVID BOWIE'S ZIGGY STARDUST. . RARE in good condition, from my own collection.
