Description

Up for auction is a nice early pressing of the self-titled Violent Femmes first album, originally released in the U.S. on Slash Records (1-23845) in 1983.
-Guaranteed early pressing from 1980s, not recent reissue -Original insert/inner sleeve w/ lyrics -Red-letter Slash labels -Vinyl comes in audiophile poly inner sleeve
Condition: Cover is very nice with only light signs of wear or age.  Front is very clean, no ring wear.  Back is nice, light rub top middle.  Some light creases along edges and spine.  Light rub to corners.  Still very attractive and nicely preserved. Grade: Excellent (EX), better than typical VG+ copies
Vinyl looks nice, still retains much of its original shine.  Has a couple light, superficial hairlines and marks, but nothing deep or serious, and certainly nothing that should affect the quality of the sound, which is excellent.  A little background noise on the lead-in grooves, but once the music kicks in, it fades out and the sound is clean.  Labels are clean, unmarked. Grade: Very Good Plus (VG+)
