Description

This is a 13 disc recording on AUDIODISC and PRESTO discs of the famous 1948 Friars Club Testimonial Dinner  (Roast) for George Georgie Jessel.  Bob Hope, George Burns, Jack Benny Al Jolson, Louis B. Mayer, Eddie Cantor and Samuel Goldwyn among others were participants.  The 13 discs all appear to be in VG to EX condition..some light scuffing but no deep scratches or chips or cracks. I have not listened to them They are recorded in groups so that a stack can be played (presumably on a multi record spindle) and then turned over and played on..Then you start with the second group.
