"Voodoo Church, an enigmatic deathrock band of superior quality, arose from the early California death-rock horror punk scene in 81-82, which helped inspire the current gothic movement, amidst bands like Christian Death, Super Heroines, and 45 Grave. They only have one release, a self titled 4 track 12" EP. This record only had a limited pressing, not all of which made it to the shelf. It is the only one to exist by Voo-doo Church. The singers name was Tina Winters, who replaced Dave Grave before the recording. Rob Reimer played guitar, and Ron Whitaker on drums. This record should be a staple in any goth punk collection!"
- NOTES : We are so sad to see this super rare California Goth punk EP go, because now we will have no music to slit our wrists to. We could use 45 GRAVE or CHRISTIAN DEATH, but VOO-DOO CHURCH is better and of course much scarier, just check the haircuts to be sure. Did you already see this is on RED VINYL? We heard this vinyl is colored with the blood from Rikk Agnew's pet lizard even. We are sure you will not find this again for many months, so do not even think about not bidding, it is not possible. Cover and vinyl are so nice!
GRADING SCALE MINT (M) the record is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The jacket and any extra items are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT (EX) the record shows signs of having been played but there is negligible loss in sound quality. The jacket may have slight wear or creasing. VERY GOOD (VG) The record has been played many times but shows no significant deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks. Normal wear and tear on the jacket, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD (G) The record has been played enough that the sound quality has deteriorated noticeably and may have light pops and skips. The jacket may suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits or discoloration. FAIR (F) The record is playable but was not properly cared for and plays with extensive surface noise overriding sound and may skip considerably. The jacket may be torn, stained or defaced. BAD (B) The record is unplayable and probably broken and is only of use as a collection filler. Grading may be fine tuned by adding + or -
