Background on this eBay item -

DAVID MANLEY is a name that many audiophiles should recognize. As the founder of VTL he designed and built some wonderful electronics over the years. Many of you will recognize his last name since many highly regarded tube amps and preamps today, sport the MANLEY banner.

Similar to other high end manufacturers like Mark Levinson, David Manley wasn't satisfied with the music software being produced by the large LP and CD companies. As such, he started manufacturing his own brand of software as well! Manufactured to the highest possible levels, the VTL CDs and LPs are highly regarded by audiophiles around the globe, especially for their typically wonderful sound.

Unfortunately the VTL software has been out of print for some time and very difficult to locate.

If you haven't done so already, give a few of the VTL Recordings a spin, you won't be sorry!

This ebay listing is for a very rare VTL RECORDINGS double LP issue (Long Out of Print and in BRAND NEW condition) 2-LP item, featuring -

CONDITION Details:

The TWO LP jackets are in Mint condition. The jackets are completely intact, with NO seam splits, and show virtually no shelf wear - perhaps a slight corner bend at most. The LPs were opened by Dahlia Records to check the quality of each of the LP pressings, to make sure that they are as close to perfect as possible. Then the LPs were re-sealed with a white sticker on the side where the LPs slip out of the plastic outer bag (look closely at the picture and you will see what we mean - at the right, front, side, halfway up the LP height).

The 2-LP set is in Mint condition! The records are actually BRAND NEW and NEVER PLAYED.

A Short Note About LP GRADING -

• Mint = Only used for sealed items.
• Near Mint = Virtually flawless in every way.
• Near Mint Minus = Item has some minor imperfections, some audible.
• Excellent = Item obviously played and enjoyed with some noise.
• Very Good Plus = Many more imperfections which are noticeable and obtrusive.

For best results, always properly clean your LPs before playing them.

The LP is an audiophile quality pressing (any collector of fine MFSL, half speeds, direct to discs, Japanese/UK pressings etc., can attest to the difference a quality pressing can make to an audio system).
