AN ELUSIVE PROGMONSTER!!!! IN MY OPINION ONE OF THE TOP 5 PROG ALBUMS EVER MADE!!VINYL IN A UNIQUE EX CONDITION!!!FIRST PRESS PINK SCROLL  LABELS!!!ULTRA RARE!!!

In the last few years I have only come across a few copies of this great Van Der Graaf album which in my opinion is the pinnacle of musicianship in the early seventies and the best Van der Graaf album (either Pawn Hearts or H to He) with Robert Fripp helping out on  guitar (Emperor).   NO skips or jumps. NO clicks,  Only very little static mainly between tracks, this is really a stunning heavy vinyl with a beautiful deep gloss. This looks UNPLAYED?? Don't be mistaken, this is a great quality vinyl, worthy of inclusion into a great prog collection!!! Inspected under an intense lightsource and angled.

I have played this in FULL> The replay is ASTOUNDING!!! I first played for a general listen and a second time for a more in-depth observation. Of course there are NO skips, jumps, clicks or sticks.  Great but often obtuse existential songcraft and it was not a wonder that Van Der Graaf did not sell to the amount that e.g. Yes and Genesis did.  I played this on my Technics turntable with a Linn cartridge and through my very revealing B&W three way speakers!!! Please whilst watching my pictures take note that the rectangular lighter areas on e.g. the labels are a technical hitch in my camera, they are NOT on the labels.

Vinyl: NM . Not very often would I grade a vinyl NM, but this has to be one of those rare occasions. Nowadays it is nearly impossible to find the earliest Pink Scroll First press Van Der Graaf albums at all. When it is like this many Van der graaf collectors will sit up and take notice. This does not turn up often in this condition. No visible hairlines. In fact, the audio is also NM, absolutely stunning. NO sticks or jumps. NO crackle, fantastic audio which has great stereo channelling, lost in later re-issues. I played this over my B&W speakers and with my headphones. This is TOP DRAWER audio!!!!! This is a seriously desirable album and very rare indeed!!! I enjoyed every second of it! 

 The Pink Scrolls of any Van Der Graaf or Peter Hamill album are golddust and very hard indeed to still find!!!

Gatefold sleeve: EX+ Gatefold sleeve. Rarely seen like this!!!! NO CREASES, NO WRITING!! Only very minimal  edge creases. Deep colours without any of the rubwear usually associated with this album, just great!!! A sleeve that is prone to wear and usually this sleeve would have lost its deep navyblue colour and look washed out , this one though, is just fantastic with beautiful colours. The inside gatefold picture is fantastic, untouched. The winner of this auction is going to salivate over this sleeve!!!!

The original polylined inner sleeve is still present with some amount of yellowing.

This is a unique investment opportunity!!! Finding this album in any condition at all is nearly impossible, LEAVE ALONE IN THIS STUNNING NM CONDITION!!!

Labels are NM with only minor spindling.
