Van Morrison It's Too Late To Stop Now 1974 US Warner Burbank 2LP Gatefold NM.
Cover: Near Mint. Near perfect still after decades. Two real flaws: a wear line down most of the far left side of front sleeve and cover corner coming unglued for a 4 inch area (see photo) at far right end of triple gatefold. Typical but small corner fraying at corners. No ringwear.
Discs: These are titled "Record 1 Side 1/Record 1 Side 2 and Record 2 Side 1/Record 2 Side 2.For ease of description here, I will use Side 1,2,3 and 4.
Visual: Side 1-VG+.Under bright light, dullish gloss. Pressing spots/anomalies present on about 10% of the playing surface of this side which produce sound. There is nothing I would call a scratch present.
Side 2-VG+.Absolutely the same as Side 1's description but a few fingerprint smudges present on this side.
Side 3-NM.Slightly dull-ish gloss compared to Side 4, 3-4 ghostly scratches, maybe 3-4 fingerprint smudges.
Side 4-VG+.The glossiest of the 4 sides. However, multiple rub marks on this side. They are mostly in one area-over the 3rd cut "Caravan"-which again, produce no noise or sound.3-4 light scratches.
Audio:
Side 1-Mint. No noise at the first needledrop at the lead-in groove area. This remains so for the rest of the side. Perfect.
Side 2-Near Mint. 3 quiet but detectable bits of crackle with each revolution which disappear when the audio track and opener ("I've Been Working" ) begins. The rest of the side is noise-free. I'd personally call this side Mint, but for the sake of details....
Side 3-Near Mint. Almost identical to Side 2's description.3 bits of quiet crackle (intermittent this time) which disappear at the fade in and openers' ("Bring It On Home") commencement. Silent backgrounds for the rest of the side.
Side 4-Mint.Silence at the lead-in groove area followed by 2 quiet ticks before the audio fades in. Silent backgrounds for the rest of the side.
