Various Artists - "The Songs Lennon & McCartney Gave Away"
1979 LP released in UK by EMI Records
Quite hard to find, this is a great compilation released in 1979 by EMI Records. According to my research, this was only pressed in Europe, Japan, and Mexico. (This is the UK version). Very interesting group of songs -- all of which are recordings from 1963 to 1969, except for Ringo Starr's version of "I'm the Greatest". Artists represented here include: Cilla Black, The Strangers, eter & Gordon, P.J. Proby and many others.
The record looks & sounds fantastic. The cover is also in great shape overall, and still has the original shrinkwrap.
The vinyl is in EX condition, and the cover is in EX condition.
