Guy was supposed to buy this locally but flaked on it.  So it's back for sale...

The SUPER RARE 1970 Cotillion Records US FIRST PRESS of this Velvets record that is a WHITE LABEL PROMO COPY with a promo hype sticker.  This record by the seminal New York City art rock/avant-garde/proto-punk rock group features the line up of Lou Reed, Sterling Morrison, Moe Tucker & Doug Yule.  Brilliant band, brilliant songs.  
These WHITE LABEL PROMO copies are hard to find, but nearly impossible to find in this kind of condition. The vinyl would easily be NEAR MINT, except for 3-4 small surface marks.  They are NOT scratches and do not affect play or sound at all, no skips or surface noise.  It's almost like your going back in time and just bought it at the record store last month.
They just force me to grade the vinyl down to NM-/VG+. 
The cover I have graded at VG (I'm conservative) because, as seen in the photos, the coloring and seams, corners, etc. are in overall great shaper its age, except there is some surface shelf/edge/ring wear and a slight crease next to the promo sticker.  There is the slightest 1" split on the end of the bottom spine, but no other seam splits.  All the graphics/text are bright and readable.  This truly is a terrific copy of an original legendary record.  I hate to have to give it up, but my loss is your gain.  I may not be waiting on the man, but I owe him money!  ;(
