The Velvet Underground & Nico Produced by Andy Warhol on US Verve V6-5008. Stereo.

Vinyl is EX-. Very little sign of play. I have owned it for 25 years and played it for the first just just now. There's 3 pops on Heroin due to what appears to be a flaw in the pressing of the vinyl. That's about it. The vinyl is bright and the sound crisp. Not much in the way of spindle marks either. A few spidery hairlines from it being taken out of the sleeve.
Label is excellent.
Sleeve is VG+. The banana is in perfect condition. There is a hole punched through the cover, and the inner sleeve. A couple of very small stains ón the rear cover (pictured). The spine is good, the top and bottom spine corners slightly rubbed. The other corners are even less slightly rubbed. Inside the sleeve, at the 4 corners there is tape or tape residue. I am not sure why this was done, but it was almost certainly done decades ago. Printed in USA.
Plain original white inner (also with the hole punched through). Some writing by the original owner on the inner. I belive the handwritten date 1970 refers to when the person acquired the LP rather than issue date.
This LP will be mailed in a mailer with stiffener and the vinyl in a seperate sleeve.
I don't stop auctions early or use Buy It Now.

To UK £9.00 Special Delivery by 1pm next day. Just signed for would be £4.50. Let me know at auction end if you want the cheaper postage - the full value of the LP probably would not be covered for insurance though.
Overseas is £19.00 tracked and signed. This seems expensive to me but perhaps the prices went up. If it proves to be inaccurate I'll refund any extra postage paid.
*** Note regarding dispatch *** I have my vinyl in Sweden and periodically take it to the UK to post. My next posting is 24th February, so I will need payment for this auction within 2 days of auction end.
***Update***
I will need payment for this at the latest 26th February as I have a tight window in which to post when in the UK.
I double-checked the overseas postage - it is correct and the reason is that the weight is over 500g.
